CLAAS has rolled out its new offerings for the latest models, including three options in the ARION series.
Introduced at Ag in Motion last week near Saskatoon, ARION is the smaller, hard-working chore tractor complement to the XERON 12 series.
Host of RealAg on the Weekend Shaun Haney caught up with Frans Reijmers of CLAAS at the show to talk about what ARION has to offer, and how CLAAS considers the end-user in development of new features. (More below)
The ARION features three models: the 660, 650 and 630. These multi-purpose tractors are designed for producers looking to handle a long list of tasks, including mowing hay, raking, baling, tillage, manure spreading, and feeding.
Available in a horsepower range of 165- to 205-hp and equipped with a continuously variable CMATIC transmission, the ARION 600 Series is focused on fuel economy while handling a multitude of tasks. With a maximum transport speed of 31 mph and a lift capacity of 17,600 pounds, the ARION 600 Series is capable of making short work of many chores on the farm or ranch, CLAAS says.
