The Wray Ranch, owned and operated by Doug and Linda Wray and Tim and Joanne Wray and their families, is being recognized for its efforts to advance environmentally sustainable cattle production.
The Wrays, who ranch west of Irricana, Alta., were presented with the 2023 Environmental Stewardship Award, including an honourary gate sign, at the Alberta Beef Industry Stampede Summit at Calgary on Monday.
Awarded annually, the Alberta Environmental Stewardship Award is presented by Alberta Beef Producers, along with Ducks Unlimited Canada, and the Nature Conservancy of Canada.
