Case IH has introduced its most powerful tractor yet, the Steiger 715 QuadTrac.
This large tractor is powered by a new 16-litre engine, though operators will be pleased to find the large engine is easily accessible without needing to fully open the large hood, says Patrick Landry of Case IH.
The brand new 715 was on display at Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show, held at Woodstock, Ont., last week. According to Landry, who had the chance to catch up with RealAgriculture’s Bernard Tobin at the show, the tractor is rated for 750 horsepower, maxing out at 778 horsepower.
As planters, air seeders, tillage tools, and other equipment continue to get wider each year — and the Steiger 715 is keeping the pace to be able to pull said implements.
Improved traction and reduced soil compaction are two other features that are highlighted on the tractor, with a 520 gallon fuel tank allowing for plenty of hours of operation.
