See you in Germany! Agritechnica returns November 12 to 18

by

Agritechnica, the world’s largest agricultural tradeshow for machinery and innovation, is set for November 12 to 18 in Hanover, Germany.

Organizers of the biennial international equipment event postponed the 2021 show during the pandemic, but 400,000 visitors are expected to tour the show later this year at the Hanover fairgrounds as 2,600 exhibitors return to the 23 halls on the 30-hectare site.

With support from our sponsors, Corteva Agriscience and Optimum GLY, the RealAgriculture Team will again be travelling to Agritechnica to provide extensive coverage for our audience. At Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show at Woodstock, Ont., this week Bernard Tobin caught up with Sandra Willer from the German Agricultural Society (DGI), which operates Agritechnica.

Willer says the theme of the 2023 event is “Green Productivity” as Agritechnica seeks to focus on the current challenge for socially acceptable agriculture and how production can be increased using fewer resources at lower intensity, while also protecting the environment and nature.

Willer shares a snapshot of what farmers and agribusiness can expect when they visit Agritechnica, as well as information how attendees can plan their trip.
