Moo To Do helps dairy producers farm smarter

by

When dairy farmers and staff have free time in their day, what should they do?

There’s always tasks waiting to be tackled, says Cattleytics CEO Dr. Shari Van De Pol, but the challenge is often knowing what needs to be done. That’s where the Moo To Do task management system can help.

At Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show last month at Woodstock, Ont.,Van De Pol shared how she has used her veterinary skills and a background in computer engineering to develop tools to help dairy producers farm smarter.

Using Cattleytics’ Moo To Do system, which can be operated easily using a mobile phone app, farmers can create task lists for all aspects of the dairy operation — from herd health to feeding and maintenance. Managers can describe tasks, assign levels of urgency, and assign tasks to specific workers, if desired.

Van De Pol feels a key to the success of Moo To Do is the company’s commitment to engaging and working with dairy farmers throughout its development.
