Cruiser Maxx Vibrance all-in-one, pre-mixed seed treatment will be offered by Syngenta on seed potatoes for the 2024 growing season, the company says.
Syngenta Canada says the fungicide and insecticide seed treatment provides protection against a broad spectrum of yield-robbing pests, including Fusarium, silver scurf, and Rhizoctonia (black scurf).
“Each spring, growers receive potato seed knowing they’ll need to prioritize any diseases or issues they’re presented with,” says Justin Bouvier, product lead for Seedcare with Syngenta Canada. “Cruiser Maxx Vibrance Potato gives growers the assurance they’re receiving the most robust disease control in an early-season insect management product.”
Offering two modes of action against disease and Rooting Power, Cruiser Maxx Vibrance Potato also contains Thiamethoxam, a Group 4 insecticide, for defence against early-season insect pests such as Colorado potato beetles, aphids, and potato leafhoppers.
The company says Cruiser Maxx Vibrance Potato will be available for the 2024 growing season and sold in a case of four, 3.785 L jugs co-packed with a vibrant blue liquid colourant for better line of sight on application coverage.
