FieldView and Precision Planting announce link between platforms

by

Precision Planting’s Panorama platform and Climate FieldView, Bayer’s digital farming platform, have announced new connectivity for the 2024 growing season.

Now, farmers using the Panorama platform, either by app or website, can transfer agronomic and farm equipment data to their FieldView accounts. Those using FieldView’s Gen 3 20|20 can view maps, input summaries, and agronomic data on a smartphone, tablet, or computer.

FieldView also announced changes to its field region reports and yield analysis functions, new reporting functionality on seasonal activities, as well as improvements to FieldView’s in-cab experience, the company says.

“We focus on providing a best-in-class digital experience for our customers, and their input is what prioritizes our work in FieldView,” said Brandon Rinkenberger, chief customer officer for Climate LLC and Digital Farming at Bayer. “The FieldView Cab app paired with a 20|20 continues to provide accurate real-time mapping of planting and harvest data, and we’ve added map layers and other enhancements to further improve the in-cab experience with Precision Planting. With Panorama, now farmers have an additional connectivity option outside of the cab.”
