The Agronomists, Ep 144: Quantifying soil health with Danny Jefferies, Dan Saurette and Dr. Jeff Schoenau

by

There are aspects of soil that are unchangeable — the amount of sand, silt, and clay, for example. But many other measures of soil can be nudged, either to the good or bad, when it comes to soil productivity and health. Organic matter, porosity, and bulk density are all changeable, but how do they impact soil health?

This episode of The Agronomists features a discussion on measuring, monitoring, and quantifying soil health with Dr. Jeff Schoenau with the University of Saskatchewan, as well as Dan Saurette and Danny Jefferies, both with Ontario’s Ministry of Agriculture, Food & Rural Affairs.

This episode of The Agronomists is brought to you by the Soil School, Farming Forward, and RealAg On The Weekend.
