Farmers can look for more horsepower, more efficiency, and simplified precision technology from 2025 model year Magnum tractors.
Case IH rolled out the new tractors for public viewing at the Commodity Classic in Houston, Texas. Morgen Dietrich, tractor segment lead at Case IH, believes Magnum upgrades will help drive productivity on the farm. He says the higher horsepower tractors — ranging from 265 hp to 405 hp models — will help operators efficiently complete tasks by handling larger implements, while also improving pass-to-pass accuracy through automated speed and steering control.
In this interview with RealAgriculture’s Bernard Tobin, Dietrich says the Magnum tractor really has become a hub for technology on the farm and changes to the 2025 model are designed to simplify the user experience — a key change here is integrated technology bundles within the tractors to eliminate the hassle of purchasing individual tech components.
For 2025, “we’re going to make technology much simpler for our salespeople and our customers by bringing in a core bundle, which will be standard equipment,” says Dietrich. “It brings the Vector Pro Receiver in along with AFS one correction signal — that’s a 40 per cent improvement in pass-to-pass accuracy, versus just a year ago.”
Farmers can also upgrade to an advanced bundle with an RTK unlock on the receiver and bring in a dual display. Additional real estate in the cab allows operators to customize planter and tractor monitor set up, as well as guidance, says Dietrich.
