SeedMaster expanding manufacturing facilities in Saskatchewan

by

Saskatchewan-based seeding equipment manufacturer SeedMaster has announced plans for a $10 million expansion to its manufacturing facilities at Emerald Park, just east of Regina.

The company says it has acquired land adjacent to its existing company headquarters, and plans to add six thousand square feet of production space to an existing six thousand square foot building. This facility will house 20 to 25 employees, along with a new CNC steel plate cutting machine and an automated painting system.

“Demand for SeedMaster technology has grown especially over the last couple of years, which had prompted our search for a suitable location to expand,” said Don Henry, CEO of SeedMaster. “We were able to acquire the space beside our current facilities and we’re excited to enter this new phase of growth at SeedMaster, right here in Emerald Park.”

The company plans to begin operating in the expanded facility by the end of 2024.

SeedMaster is planning to launch several new products for 2025, including a new Ultra Pro 3 (UP3) on-frame tank system, the new E Series Air Cart, and a new single knife air drill, which will be on display at the Ag in Motion farm show in Langham, Sask. in July.
