Size plays a key role in farm efficiency and that’s certainly the case when it comes to fuel tanks.
AGI’s director of liquid sales, Brian Bateman, says the company’s new vertical single-wall fuel tanks will give farmers the capacity they require to have fuel available at critical times during the year.
Ranging in size from 50,000 to 125,000 litres, Bateman notes that the tanks also allow for savings to be had from bulk purchasing and direct drops from the refinery, which tend to be delivered at a discount versus fuel handled by retail.
In this report from Ag In Motion earlier this summer at Saskatoon, Sask., Bateman and RealAgriculture’s Bernard Tobin take a look at the ULC S601 vertical liquid tank and its 125,000 litre capacity. He notes the tank is a great option for storing large volumes of combustible liquids such as gasoline, diesel, biodiesel and ethanol in a small footprint.
Bateman adds that the tank’s ULC certification ensures that unique storage requirements for a wide variety of liquids, including refined fuels, are met and safety best practices are in place. Watch the video below.
