Efficiency is everything when timeframes are tight and acres are many. The equipment chosen for a job can make a substantial difference in how quickly, efficiently, and economically a field gets seeded and fertilized.
These factors were top of mind when Morris Equipment designed their new 10 Series Air Cart, which is the largest tow-between air cart on the market, says Garth Massie of Morris Equipment in this video filmed last month at Ag in Motion.
Meeting customers expectations of quality was important in the build of this cart even down to the paint. Any spot that will collect fertilizer dust is a corrosion point says Massie, which is why Morris Equipment used a powder coat paint on these units ensuring that the carts look good for years.
This air cart features new tank shapes, with unique sizes in order to optimize seeding, Massie says. Larger tank lids, steeper hoppers, as well as partnering with Convey-All to bring growers a new high capacity conveyor means that customers can expect reduced downtime in the field.
