Massey Ferguson continues its focus on providing field-proven technology and lower cost of ownership for farmers with its new 9S Series tractors.
Farmers had their first opportunity to check out the 9S Series on North American soil last week at the Farm Progress Show in Boone, Iowa. In this report, Massey tactical marketing manager Derek Reusser notes that the tractor promises to bring more efficiency to the farm with up to a 15 per cent reduction in fuel consumption to help reduce costs and maximize profits.
The 9S will feature five models ranging from 310 to 425 horsepower and include a duo 8.4-litre AGCO Power engine and a Dyna-VT transmission. Reusser says the new tractor’s 90 GPM ECO (economy) pump will also deliver maximum power and efficiency for demanding implements.
Reusser also touts the intuitive nature of 9S Series tractor operations and the benefits of the cab’s Protect-U design, which boasts superior cab comfort and visibility.
“Massey Ferguson designed this 9S Series to have optimal power so that farmers can get the job done right night or day. When you have a short window of time to reach maximum yield potential, working in a tractor that turns night into day means more productivity.” Watch the video below.
