Fendt offers growers maneuverability and flexibility with new 600 Series tractors

by

Agricultural producers have a wide variety of needs and put a lot of demands on their tractors; cattle producers working in corrals and growers working in tight spaces in the farm yard are examples of this.

Fendt kept both maneuverability and flexibility in mind when they designed the 600 Series tractors. These tractors, in the 160 to 200 horsepower range, are compact and have a short wheel base, says Josh Gould of Fendt while at Agri-Trade in Red Deer, Alta.

The Fendt 600 series tractors have moved from the typical six-cylinder in this horsepower range, to a four-cylinder AGCO Power 5.0 litre engine with excellent torque and good fuel economy, Gould says.

Combining the new engine with Fendt iD which holds torque along a wider RPM range, and Dynamic Power which maintains power even when auxiliary features such as lights, air conditioning, and air compressor turn on, means that the power to get the job done is there when you need it, he says.
