Salford has expanded its Halo tillage line with the addition of a 15-foot Halo VRT, an implement capable of varying tillage intensity on a forward folding, narrow transport frame.
Launched in 2022, Salford says the Halo VRT is a good fit for farmers looking to adjust tillage levels and manage residue. Key features include easily adjustable down pressure rollers, a single point depth control system, and a joystick kit that reduces the need for multiple hydraulic connections.
In this report from Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show in Woodstock, Ont., Salford’s product manager, Josh Kettle, notes that down pressure rollers are easily adjustable to change soil surface finish. He adds that the single point depth control is unique to the Halo line, allowing for easy depth adjustments. Watch the report below.
