Some weeks just require more. More energy, more coffee, more phone calls, more discussion.
This week started with president-elect Donald Trump announcing a planned 25 per cent tariff on ALL goods coming into the U.S. There’s an on-going Canada Post strike. The House of Commons finally got one singular thing done late Thursday and passed a bill to give Canadians a two-month “holiday” from the GST on a few items.
It was also a week of events — the Ontario Federation of Agriculture AGM at Toronto, Agribition at Regina, and Canada’s Outstanding Young Farmer’s program at Lethbridge.
So, in a week where the Friday episode of RealAg Radio was already full with coverage of COYF, we decided the week also called for more RealAg Radio.
Behold! Host Shaun Haney is joined by Tyler McCann, managing editor of the Canadian Agri-Policy Institute, Kelvin Heppner and Lyndsey Smith, both of RealAgriculture, for this special BONUS RealAg Radio issues panel feature!
