New resource hopes to help consumers trust what’s on their plate

With over 80 per cent of the population in North America living in urban centers, it is not surprising that there is a disconnect between people and the origins of the food that they are consuming.

Surveys have shown that while there is a very high level of trust for farmers, only one person in five have a high level of trust in our modern agricultural systems.

Dennis Bulani, a fourth generation farmer and retailer has launched his new book last week, ‘What a Farmer Wants You to Know About Food’ and the website TrustYourPlate.com in an effort to cut through the noise surrounding modern agricultural practices.

What a Farmer Wants You to Know About Food can be purchased on Amazon and Trust Your Plate is active on Facebook, X and Instagram.
