Fieldview 2.0 helps farmers assess product ROI, easily move, and update field prescriptions

by

Climate Fieldview has come out with a major update to the platform, just ahead of the busy growing season.

Andria Karstens, product value lead for Fieldview, says that growers and agronomists can look for more processing power, better hardware and secure Bluetooth connections as features of the Drive 2.0 version.

Karstens, at the Western Canada Crop Production Show at Saskatoon this week, says the update also allows for faster, more efficient data transfer during seeding, spraying and harvest, and added compatibility with newer equipment models.

Those looking to transfer new or updated prescription maps will be able to transfer those files without needing an external drive, making the process faster and more efficient, she says.

Features of the Fieldview platform, including imagery, scouting features, and mapping will help farmers assess the value and outcome of different product applications, helping them really dig into what products are delivering a ROI in the field, Kartens says.
