Grain Farmers of Ontario (GFO) has released its 2025 strategic plan, a four-year roadmap to guide activities that support the GFO’s focus on advocacy, knowledge transfer, market growth, and strong governance as the organization continues its work to bring its mission and vision to life.
GFO says its mission is to build, defend, and promote an inclusive, innovative, and sustainable business environment that enables grain farmer-members the opportunity to prosper. Its vision is: Thriving farms. Responsible production. Trusted grain farmers.
The 2025-2029 Grain Farmers of Ontario Strategic Plan outlines the organization’s commitment to its core values: farmer-members, team, community, results, innovation, and honesty and integrity. The organization says it will strive to provide farmer-members with the tools and resources they need to be successful.
Included in the plan is reference to working with policy makers, increasing the use of Ontario grains domestically and abroad, and investing in high-quality research.
