Bushels & Bytes, Ep 1: Small adoptions of tech add up to big impacts

by

Throughout any career, there comes a time when a new way of doing things just makes sense. Adopting technology is easier when there’s a clear benefit, when it makes doing a particular task easier or faster.

Kristjan Hebert, CEO of Hebert Grain Ventures, is one farmer who has been on the leading edge and the bleeding edge of tech adoption, and has learned some lessons along the way.

In this first episode of the Bushels & Bytes podcast, brought to you by the Canadian Agri-food Automation and Intelligence Network (CAAIN), Hebert explains how leveraging mentorship of the more experienced generation while harnessing the tech-intuitive nature of the younger generation has changed the workflow on his Saskatchewan farm.
