The Canadian Agricultural Safety Association (CASA) has secured key funding for programming just ahead of Canadian Agricultural Safety Week, March 16 to 22, 2025.
CASA will receive up to $1.6 million over three years through the AgriCompetitiveness Program, a program under the Sustainable Canadian Agricultural Partnership.
“With this investment, CASA continues its important work to ensure the safety and well-being of Canadian farmers, their families, and all agricultural workers. Together, we are building a safer future for Canadian agriculture,” says Sandra Miller, executive director of Canadian Agricultural Safety Association.
CASA is a national, non-profit organization dedicated to improving the health and safety of farmers, their families and agricultural workers and the funding announced will go towards supporting initiatives such as national leadership, training programs, awareness campaigns, and on-farm resources, geared towards improving farm safety and reducing the risk of injuries in Canadian agriculture.
