Weidmann’s T6025 telehandler measures less than two metres in height and width, but a six metre boom and 2.5-tonne cargo capacity gives it the versatility to stack high and carry a load in chicken barns, dairy farms and beef operations.
In this report from the Canadian Dairy XPO in Stratford, Ont., Frontier Sales and Equipment sales consultant Andrew Lillico shares how the telehandler’s unique combination of lifting height, width and machine performance makes it a good fit for confined spaces, as well as loading and unloading.
The T6025 is equipped with ride control for operator comfort and locking differentials for better fuel economy and reduced tire wear. Lillico also highlights ease of maintenance thanks to a sideways-mounted engine that provides easy access to fluid levels, oil, anti-freeze, and air and hydraulic filters. The machine features a reversing fan to clear dirt and dust from the engine compartment, which can be set on a timer or manually activated.
In the cab, operators will find plenty of glass for visibility, more room, and comfort features including tilt and telescopic steering, Bluetooth for hands-free communication and a load monitoring gauge for safe operation. The telehandler has multiple drive systems to help optimize hydraulic performance and foot throttle control. Watch the video below.
