P&H buys former Sollio bulk marine export terminal at Quebec City

by

Parrish & Heimbecker, Limited (P&H) has acquired a deep-water bulk marine export terminal at Quebec City from Societe En Commandite Terminal Grains.

The terminal has been operated by Sollio Agriculture since 2021.

Located in a key eastern shipping corridor, and at the Port of Quebec, the Quebec City terminal is a highly efficient facility that will play a critical role in enhancing P&H’s ability to serve its customers from coast to coast, the company says. With this acquisition, P&H has established a new commercial relationship with QSL International Ltd. QSL’s presence and expertise in the Port of Quebec will support the continued success and integration of the terminal into P&H’s national supply chain.

The terminal will continue to be operated by its current employees, P&H says.

“The addition of a Quebec City terminal is a strong fit for our long-term growth strategy,” says John Heimbecker, CEO of P&H, in a press release. “It allows us to offer even more reliable and efficient service to our customers, while optimizing our logistics and supply chain capabilities across the country.”

P&H values strong relationships with local communities and partners and is committed to working collaboratively to meet the operational standards set by the Port of Quebec.
