Poll: How do you beat the heat?

by

A Canadian summer is usually a hot one: it's what makes the cold, dark winters worth it. But there is such thing as too much of a good thing, and parts of Ontario hit a humidex-rated high Monday, where the mercury rose to over 34 degrees C.

Extreme heat can be hard on crops — even the heat-loving ones such as corn — but it's especially difficult for livestock, both housed and on pasture, and equally hard on the humans who care for them. Really hot weather can be dangerous, and it makes everything more difficult, slower, or more likely to pop or break (looking at you, tires).

With apologies to some in Western Canada who are bundled up against a cool beginning to the official start of summer, we want to know, how do you beat the heat?
