It all comes down to more acres per day for John Deere’s new F4365 high capacity nutrient applicator.
At the recent Farm Progress Show in Boone, Iowa, John Deere product manager Jason Beuligmann showcased the new, 330-cubic-feet dry spinner spreader. He explained that the company’s engineers had two goals in mind for the design – operator comfort, as well as overall performance of the machine.
In this video, Beuligmann explains that to accomplish these goals, engineers added a rugged chassis built to handle challenging terrain, combined with a 9-litre engine and 364 HP. The infinitely variable transmission reaches up to 30 MPH for field application and can deliver up to 46 MPH for transport speed from field to field.
Beuligmann also notes that operators will enjoy a range of features inside the CommandView III cab, the same spacious cab found in John Deere’s bigger tractors.
