Dr. Nick Bontis
Dr. Nick Bontis is an award-winning tenured professor of strategy at McMaster University. He has won more than 12 major teaching awards, and has been recognized as “faculty researcher of the year,” “one of the school’s most popular professors” by Maclean’s magazine, and “one of the top 10 lecturers in Ontario” by TVO. He is also a 3M National Teaching Fellow, an exclusive honour bestowed only upon the top university professors in Canada.
Dr. Bontis is the director of the Institute for Intellectual Capital Research, a leading strategic-management consulting firm. His consulting services have been sought by leading organizations, including the United Nations, Microsoft, Health Canada, Royal Bank, Telus, and IBM.
Dr. Bontis is the author of Information Bombardment: Rising Above the Digital Onslaught and an associate editor of the Journal of Intellectual Capital.

Bryce leads the organization in Canada where he has the responsibility for strategy and management of all facets of the Canadian business. Prior to his current role, he was the business director for DuPont Pioneer and DuPont Crop Protection in Canada, and the president of Pioneer Hi-Bred Canada Company.
Bryce began his career with DuPont Pioneer in 2009 as a sales manager for the Canadian business unit before moving into the business director role for Eastern Canada and then on to the integrated operations director role, where he was responsible for production locations in Canada and California. Prior to joining DuPont, he worked for Cargill Limited where he held several roles of increasing managerial responsibility.
Bryce has expertise in a variety of areas including sales management, operations, business development and grain merchandising. He also has a strong commitment to employee engagement and building strong and diverse teams.
Born in Moosomin, Saskatchewan, Bryce graduated from Brandon University with a degree in Economics.
Dr. Tom Wolf grew up on a grain farm in southern Manitoba and has spent his whole life farming or working for farmers. He obtained his BSA (1987) and M.Sc. (1991, Plant Science) at the U of M, and his Ph.D. (1996, Agronomy) at the Ohio State University, where he specialized in spray application technology as well as spray drift, pesticide efficacy and sprayer tank cleanout. He is a professional agrologist, a member of the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers, a member and past president of the Canadian Weed Science Society, and is one of the most recognized sprayer specialists in North America.
Dr. Wolf has published and presented extensively both nationally and internationally and enjoys sharing his findings with growers directly and through sprayers101.com.
Dr. Jason Deveau is the Application Technology Specialist with the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs. He holds a B.Sc. (hon) in Biology & Psychology from Mount Allison University, a M.Sc. in plant cell physiology from York University and a Ph.D. in plant cell electrophysiology from the University of Guelph.
Working out of the Simcoe Resource Centre in Ontario, his current focus is to explore methods to reduce pesticide wastage and off-target contamination, to develop methods to spray crops more consistently and to create educational materials for sprayer operators. He is the co-developer of sprayers101.com and the author of Airblast101 — A Handbook of Best Practices in Airblast Spraying.
